Kami Studio is a creative studio specialized in the development, production, and commercialization of custom LED neon projects, as well as other creative solutions based on LED technology and 3D printing, aimed at private and business clients in Portugal and the European Union.
2. Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions regulate:
- Access and use of the website www.kamistudio.pt;
- Browsing, consulting, and interacting with the content provided;
- Orders and purchases made through the online store;
- Contractual relationships established between Kami Studio and its clients.
Use of the website and/or placing an order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3. Users and Conditions of Use
The user declares that:
- They have legal capacity to enter into contracts;
- They provide truthful, complete, and up-to-date information;
- They use the website responsibly, lawfully, and in accordance with applicable legislation.
Kami Studio reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel orders or access whenever abusive, fraudulent, or non-compliant practices with these Terms are detected.
4. Products and Services Provided
Kami Studio provides its products and services through three main modalities:
4.1 Kami Builder
An online tool that allows clients to create and customize their LED neon, with a near real-time preview, by selecting text, dimensions, colors, and other elements.
4.2 Custom Projects
A service aimed at business or institutional clients seeking more complex technical solutions, including specific integrations, customized projects, and dedicated support.
4.3 Kami Studio Collection
A set of exclusive creative pieces designed by the Kami Studio design team, with predefined characteristics.
Custom products, regardless of the modality used, are produced according to the specifications provided by the client and cannot be resold to third parties.
The images and graphical representations on the website are for illustrative purposes only; slight variations may occur due to artisanal and technological production processes.
5. Ordering Process
To place an order, the client must:
- Select the desired product or service;
- Configure the product, if applicable;
- Add it to the cart;
- Fill in the required checkout information;
- Confirm the order and proceed with payment.
An order is only considered definitively accepted after validation and confirmation by Kami Studio.
6. Prices and Payment Methods
All prices shown include VAT at the applicable legal rate unless otherwise indicated.
The following payment methods are available via Stripe:
- Credit or debit card
- MB Way
- Multibanco reference
- PayPal
- SEPA
- Bizum (available for customers in Spain)
Kami Studio does not have access to or store clients’ full payment data.
7. Deliveries
Deliveries are made through a partner courier. Shipping conditions, times, and costs are detailed in the Shipping and Returns Policy, available on a dedicated page on the website, to which the client is explicitly referred.
8. Right of Withdrawal
8.1 Non-Customized Products
Clients have a 30-day period from the date of receipt of the order to exercise the right of withdrawal for non-customized products, in accordance with applicable legislation.
8.2 Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal – Customized Products
Under Decree-Law No. 24/2014, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Customized products;
- Products produced according to client specifications or clearly customized.
9. Warranties
9.1 End Consumers
Products purchased by end consumers are covered by a legal 3-year warranty under applicable law.
9.2 Business Clients
For business clients, the warranty is 1 year, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9.3 Scope of the Warranty
The warranty covers:
- Electrical and electronic components;
- LED neon structure;
- Power supply.
9.4 Exclusions
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- Incorrect installation or installation outside the provided instructions;
- Modifications, adaptations, or repairs carried out by third parties;
- Improper use or use outside normal conditions;
- Normal wear and tear of the product.
10. User Obligations
The user agrees to:
- Use the website lawfully;
- Not violate the rights of third parties;
- Not introduce viruses, scripts, or malicious code;
- Respect Kami Studio’s intellectual property rights.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the website, including text, images, logos, designs, graphics, and software, is the property of Kami Studio or third parties duly authorized, and is protected by copyright and industrial property rights. Reproduction, distribution, or use without prior authorization is prohibited.
12. Limitation of Liability
Kami Studio shall not be liable for:
- Temporary interruptions of website operation;
- Technical or communication failures beyond its control;
- Indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use of the website.
Nothing in this document excludes consumers’ legally mandated rights.
13. Personal Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), detailed in the Privacy Policy available on the website.
14. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Kami Studio reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect from the date of publication on the website.
15. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law.
In case of dispute:
- Consumers may refer to the courts in their area of residence;
- In other cases, the competent jurisdiction is the district of Vila Nova de Gaia, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction.
